On 23rd May – 2022 Wavetec invited TCF representatives to share some useful insights relevant to the ongoing Educational gaps in Pakistan. Wavetec supports the tireless efforts of TCF and enacts the necessary actions to make education a reality for every child in the Country.
Recently The Citizens Foundation arranged a session at Wavetec highlighting the increased inflation rate in the country and its impact on the education of underprivileged children in Pakistan. As a leading technology company, Wavetec fulfills its responsibility towards the society and plays an active role in CSR activities in collaboration with TCF.
Wavetec Supports TCF to Uplift the Education in Pakistan
Approximately, there are 22.8 million children deprived of going to school in Pakistan due to poverty and lack of resources. To achieve a compatible literacy rate, Wavetec extends its resources to The Citizens Foundation to consider the underprivileged children of the country and develop purpose-built schools across the country with the motive,
“Education cannot wait”
Wavetec is a long-standing supporter of TCF. Together, they assure that all schools developed by The Citizens Foundation are equipped with the necessary facilities required to deliver quality education. In addition, TCF is keen to provide equal employment opportunities to the citizens based on their skills, enthusiasm, and capabilities. And hence, ensure enrolment of an equal percentage of male and female students.
Due to the strong belief that education can actually make a difference, Wavetec remains at the forefront of the initiatives that empower child education in Pakistan.

Towards the event’s end, Wavetec employees learned about the volunteering opportunities initiated by TCF. They emphasized on their volunteering program Rahbar – which is appreciated and supported by the majority of citizens. A number of Wavetec employees showed interest in the program during the QnA session. Along with the volunteering programs, TCF also offers an easy donation plan starting from as low as 2000 PKR per month which makes it possible for the majority of citizens to participate.
