Glasgow Science Center has finalized a high-resolution outdoor LED display to be installed at the main entrance of their premises in Glasgow, Scotland. The project will be implemented by ITAB, the largest supplier of retail solutions in Europe. Wavetec LED Displays & Content Management Software have been selected for this purpose. Wavetec is a leading provider of such technologies to a number of major corporations globally.

The scope of work covers from manufacturing of a customized 15.3 (W) mt. x 3.6 (H) mt. LED Video Wall of SMD Pitch 8 mm technology, installation, Web-based Content Management Software and post- installation services.

The main goal is to display live videos at the Glasgow Science Centre’s main entrance to develop an effective and captivating visual impact engaging the audience visiting the site. Moreover, the Video Wall will be used for live coverage of Commonwealth Games 2014. The screen will be placed in the front facing “features wall” located at the Glasgow Science Centre, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow, G51 1EA.

Glasgow Science Centre is a five star visitor attraction that is focused towards providing awareness of science to all in Scotland. It is an independent Scottish charity that is dedicated towards enlightening the concepts of science and technology.
